Welcome to the Legacies of Conflict Memory Map
This memory map has been designed to preserve and share some of the stories of Fingal during the tumultuous period between 1914 and 1945. As you explore the remains of conflict in the landscape, you will find firsthand accounts of events, historic photographs and recordings, and learn about some of the courageous and creative people who lived through the era.
Legacies of Conflict is an initiative of Fingal County Council Heritage Office in partnership with Archaeology and Built Heritage Ltd.
